Stephen Schardin, Managing Director - President
Schardin oversees and implements the strategic direction of Charles River Brokerage, and has over 25 years experience in the financial services and institutional investor industries. Prior to launching Charles River Brokerage, Schardin served in senior management positions at Tucker Anthony, Rauscher Pierce, Kidder Peabody and Prudential Securities.
Frank Matarese, Director, Brokerage Operations
Matarese is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Charles River Brokerage and global oversight for the applications delivered to Members. Matarese brings over 17 years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Charles River Brokerage in 2006, Matarese held senior management positions at Lava Trading, OMX, Reuters America, Instinet, and D. E. Shaw & Co., L.P.
Spiros Giannaros, Director - Sales
Spiros Giannaros drives the adoption of Charles River’s technology and services in North America, South America, Latin America and the Caribbean. Previously, Spiros served in product specialist and sales roles at Thomson Financial. Spiros holds a BS in Finance and Marketing from Boston College.
J.R. Morris, Director, Engineering
JR oversees all research and development, quality assurance and technical operations for Charles River Brokerage and has over 16 years of experience in the software engineering space. Prior to joining Charles River Brokerage in 2007, JR held senior technical positions at Wellington Management LLC, deNovis Inc, and Sun Microsystems.
